Although it varies due to the person’s tissue qualities, generally the bruising and swellings are seen after rhinoplasty surgery for a short period of time. Cold-pack application on the nose for 3 days reduce the swellings swiftly. Some cremes for the following days may be used to reduce these swellings even more. Other special cremes are adviced for the bruises as well. All of the major swellings and the bruisings subside to an unnoticeable point by fading to yellowish color in 2 weeks after the rhinoplasty surgery.
